UWD - Universal Website Definition
UWD, the Universal Website Definition - the studio's in-house website builder.
What it is
UWD (Universal Website Definition) is the studio’s own website builder. A site is described in simple data files, and an editor turns them into plain static web pages and uploads them to the web host (repo).
For us: One editor serves many sites, so non-programmers can edit content. origin-infinite.com is built with it (UWD Editor (origin-infinite.com)), and so is the new spacemusic.com (UWD Editor (spacemusic.com)).
How to start
- Open the editor of the site you want (for example UWD Editor (origin-infinite.com)).
- Edit the content and publish; the editor builds and deploys.
- To set up a new site, follow the README deployment guide.
